The Grad Night Committee Needs You!

For the last 24 years it has been a tradition at Placer High for parents of the future graduating classes to plan and host an ALL-INCLUSIVE, ALL NIGHT event for the graduating seniors.  The intent is to give them a fun, alcohol and drug free celebration, while keeping them safe the night of graduation.  This year’s event will take place at ARD on June 7th, from 9pm – 5am.  This is one of the biggest events put on solely by the parents of Placer High School, with an average of 250 graduates attending each year.

Monthly general meetings are held in the loft of Tango Frozen Yogurt shop in Central Square on the second Wednesday of each the month (Sept – May).  We use these meetings to plan Grad Night, discuss ideas for fundraising, and organize volunteers for various positions.  It is not necessary to attend every meeting.  If you can’t attend meetings but still want to help, we can put you on the email distribution to keep you informed of what is going on. To keep this going for future graduating classes, it requires help from the underclassman parents.  Many of the committee members have been involved since their students were Freshman.  We welcome any level of involvement, but particularly need Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior parents.  See our Volunteer page for more information.
